You may recognize the oldest son in this session ... I did his senior portraits back in March and this time I got to photograph the whole family! Honestly, I have no idea how Mom does it with all that testosterone, lol! Just kidding ;) This session was lots of fun with lots of laughs and some gorgeous images! A big thanks to Brandy for assisting me on this shoot and holding my reflector to put the light where I needed it! Oh, and for you photogs out there I recently added the Larson 42x72" super silver reflectasol to my arsenal and I love it but it's so big I find it helpful to bring a helper along. This family is so sweet and fun! We went to a secret little place down by the river and we were swarmed by mosquitos. Even though we had to deal with lots of pesky little bugs the results were totally worth it!! The session images turned out beautifully with gorgeous golden evening light and lovely colors.

Well, I must say I have been a really bad blogger lately. My super blog stalker was telling me about a conversation she had the other day that I hadn't updated my blog and the person she was talking to said, "Well, she's updated her facebook like 8 times today." Um, yeah ... guilty as charged. I'm a facebook junkie, what can I say? 

This little girl is my muse! Every time I photograph her I am filled with ideas and get great stuff! I love it and it's so much fun! So, here she is wearing this fabulous dress I got off Etsy.com just for this shoot. 

I know there are going to be all kinds of "awww"s going out here because this little darling is just beautiful! She has wonderfully adoring parents and it's just so sweet to see them all together. She did so great during her session, especially since we shot the entire thing outside on the balcony where the light was amazing and down in the garden! 

Oh my gosh, these 2 little boys are just so adorable! We had a great time at their session a couple of weeks ago. I'm excited for Mom to see all of the images but it will have to wait a little longer because I got summoned for jury duty this week :( So, in the meantime, here's a sweet little sneak peek!

If you didn't already know, I am a huge fan of the Twilight Saga. So big a fan in fact that my husband got me a life size cardboard cutout of Edward for my birthday. He lives in my office, lol! The official trailer for the second movie in the series was just released and it looks SOOOOOO GOOD! You can tell from the short trailer that the direction and special effects are so much better than in the first movie. I am a big fan of the director Chris Weitz and the wonderful job he did adapting The Golden Compass of Philip Pullman's Dark Materials to the big screen. I had a wonderful time photographing Miss "H" in her adorable little outfit that I picked out! I just love styling the clothing for sessions! She had lots of fun showing off for me, mom and grandma during the session. Thanks for a great time!

Newborns are just so sweet and cuddly and this one was no exception! Little Miss "B" was 5 days old for her session and I think that is the perfect age! She did wonderfully, was nice and sleepy and let me move her all around without waking up. I know there is going to be big giant, "awwwwww" so here you go!
